Karroubi presents evidence of rape claims

According to Saham News, Mehdi Karroubi presented evidence of rape in Iran’s prisons to the Parliament’s fact-finding special committee at his office Monday.
The three-hour meeting was held following Speaker Ali Larijani’s order to investigate Karroubi’s claims of sexual abuse and torture in Tehran’s Kahrizak prison.
The special committee is made up of Members of Parliament including Representatives Jalali, Motahari, Tajarri, Sorouri, and Sanaei, and also Moghadam and Jalilian from the Etemed Melli Party.  Jalali was chosen by the committee to convey the detailed report to the media.
