Friday Prayer

According to Mohammad Khatami’s facebook page, ILNA news agency along with the standard media journal of the province of Khorasan have declared that Mahmud Ahmadinejad will not be attending this week’s Friday prayer which is to be delivered by Hashemi Rafsanjani. The standard media journal of the province of Khorasan has gone as far as to urge the citizens of the Holy City of Mashhad to attend the welcoming ceremonies that are planned for Ahmadinejad.
The welcoming ceremonies coincidentally are planned on the same time the Friday Prayer sermons are scheduled. The underlining question is will the people of Iran’s holiest city attend the welcoming ceremonies of Ahmadinejad or watch one of the most politically momentous Friday Prayer sermons in the history of the Islamic Repulic?
