The Rumi Prescription

How an Ancient Mystic Poet Changed My Modern Manic Life

NIAC is overjoyed to be partnering with award-winning Iranian-American author Melody Moezzi to offer pre-ordered copies of her newest book, The Rumi Prescription: How an Ancient Mystic Poet Changed My Modern Manic Life, to anyone who donates $25 or more to NIAC between now and May 2020. The smallest recommended donation amount of $25 is less than the retail price of the book. Please note: quantities are limited and books will only be offered to the first 1,000 people who donate $25 or more.*

The book, published by Penguin Random House/TarcherPerigee, follows Melody's path of discovery as she translates Rumi's works for herself—to gain wisdom and insight in the face of a creative and spiritual roadblock. With the help of her father, she immerses herself in this rich body of work, and discovers a 13th-century prescription for modern life. Addressing isolation, depression, anger, distraction, fear, and other everyday challenges we all face, the book offers a roadmap for living with intention and ease, and embracing love at every turn—despite our deeply divided and chaotic times.

The book is slated to be released on March 3, 2020—so keep an eye on your mailbox after you donate! To ensure you get your copy of the book, please donate below.
