Trita Parsi, pointed to Iran’s intransigence on the nuclear issue, its more aggressive stance in military aid to the Syrian government and a State Department report last week that asserted Iran’s support for terrorism is at its highest in 20 years. Despite the sanctions, Parsi said, “Iran has moved in the wrong direction on every front.”
