Introduction
Thanks to the support of the Proteus Fund, in October 2024, NIAC acquired a national list of registered voters. We then refined the list by utilizing an AI tool developed by one of NIAC’s chapter volunteer leaders that identified over 120,000 Iranian American voters.
For this nonpartisan outreach to voters, we provided links to check their registration status, deadlines for mail-in and early voting, as well as polling locations. NIAC is a 501(c)(3) organization that does not endorse candidates for office, so for this outreach, voters were not told who to vote for president.
The below report sheds light on the community’s strong anti-war sentiment, with key insights by state, age group, and political affiliations.
