150 members of the House of Representatives have sent President Obama the strongest Congressional endorsement of Iran diplomacy to date!
These Representatives signed a letter, authored by Reps. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) and David Price (D-NC), that endorses the framework agreement, urges that negotiations be given time and space to succeed, and warns against war with Iran.
This summer, Congress will very likely vote on whether to support a deal or to kill it. If your Representative signed the letter, it is very important to send them a thank you now so that they remain firm in supporting a final deal! If your Representative did not sign, it is critical to send them a message pressing them to support diplomacy and protect a deal if it comes to a vote!
Take Action: Find out whether your Representative has signed the letter by consulting the chart below (if you’re not sure who is your Representative you can look them up here).
Then, send them a message based on their position–
>> If your Representative signed the letter: send them a Thank You!
>> If your Representative did not sign the letter: urge them to stand up for diplomacy!
