Ayatollah Requests Meeting to Address Opposition Concerns

Mowj reports that Ayatollah Dastgheib, a member of the Assembly of Experts, has called for an immediate meeting of the Assembly of Experts. “I am requesting in a friendly manner and with the best intentions, before it is too late, the Experts must organize a meeting to save face, which should publicly discuss the issues that we need to review, and answer to the desire of the people, which is their duty under the Constitution,” Dastgheib said. “It should also answer to the complaints of the people, as expressed by their representatives, Mr. Mousavi and Mr. Karroubi.”
