Mojtabah Tehrany-Release Bail Set to $150 Million Tomans

According to Etemadmeli (Karroubi’s official newspaper) the amount of bail for the release of Mojtabah Tehrany has been set to $150 Million Tomans (approximately $150,000 USD). Tehrany a reporter for the newspaper Etemadmeli has been arrested from his office for over 4 weeks now. Reasons for his arrest have not been release yet.
Karroubi who met with Tehrany’s wife and mother yesterday to extend his assistance and sympathies, stated “Mr. Tehrany is a follower of the path of Ayatollah Khomeini and has not conducted any political activates outside the realms of Etemadmeli”. Karroubi expressed his desires for the release of Tehrany and all those who have also been arrested during the recent demonstrations.
