Reza Aslan Goes on the Daily Show A Lot

Last week, Reza Aslan — (*shameless plug) a NIAC Advisory Board member — went on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart for the 7th time.
It’s a little-known fact that our own Trita Parsi was scheduled to go on The Daily Show (his first, but no small feat in its own right) in 2007.  The day he was set to be interviewed just happened to have been November 5, 2007.  You may remember that date for another reason: that was the first day of the infamous TV writers’ strike, which lasted over 100 days and which crippled much of the television industry.
Not that it’s Trita’s fault or anything, but it’s good we have people like Reza to pick up the slack…
