Saïd Amin

said aminSaïd Amin was born in Tehran, Iran but spent most of his childhood in Paris, France and the Washington DC area. After graduating from Clark University in Massachusetts with a B.A. in International Relations, he went on to work for Fannie Mae, a Fortune 500 company. Five years later he left Fannie Mae and set sail on the seas of entrepreneurship.

He founded World Singles Networks in 2001, a leading niche online dating company. The portfolio started with IranianPersonals and expanded to include different niche dating sites that now span the globe and connect millions of singles. ArabLounge, EligibleGreeks, JamaicanDating, and HyeSingles are just a few of their personals sites.

Along with its market leading brands, World Singles Networks also powers online matchmaking services for top media companies, online publishers and elite affiliate marketers. Company headquarters are in Seattle, Washington with additional offices in Aliso Viejo, California.

Saïd’s passion for the Iranian community prompted him to purchase ownership of in 2012. is the first and longest running online community for the diaspora. Over the last 20 years it has served as a vibrant destination for those who care deeply about all things Iranian–identity, culture, music, history, politics. It is a place where information is openly shared, debated and celebrated.

Saïd currently resides in Seattle, Washington where he enjoys the outdoors and great coffee.
