In one of the first acts of the 117th Congress, the House passed legislation supported by NIAC endorsing internet freedom and targeted, not broad, sanctions. We have secured a bipartisan majority in support of the legislation in the Senate.
Advocated for Internet Freedom for Iranians
Following up on our successful efforts to ensure sanctions do not block satellite internet and other communications tools, we helped pass legislation to ensure private companies allow Iranians to access their services.
