Some news from NIAC’s Outreach Director

Dear NIAC family,

I’m reaching out to share some news: I’m excited and humbled to have the opportunity to pursue my Masters in Public Policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, beginning later this summer.

While this means I will no longer be part of NIAC’s staff team, I can’t imagine letting go completely of an organization that has provided me with an unrivaled set of mentors, teammates, colleagues, and friends — particularly at this pivotal moment in US-Iran relations. As such, beginning this July, I look forward to supporting the organization in a new role (stay tuned for more on this soon!).

Reflecting on my past four years serving at NIAC —  first as a volunteer Ambassador, and then as Outreach Director — I think of the dozens of inspiring men and women of all ages, professions, and backgrounds whom I have seen first-hand develop from political novices into savvy, impressive civic leaders who hold their legislators’ ears on the issues impacting our community. This ever-expanding group of thoughtful, collaborative, principled, and passionate Iranian-American grassroots talent has proven to me that our community has a lot to be optimistic about.

Starting today, I will lead the search for a new Outreach Director, and am committed to ensuring a smooth transition. I look forward to welcoming a new member to our team soon, and do not doubt that we will find a star who will help take NIAC’s efforts to the next level in the months and years ahead.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to continuing to work together to strengthen our community’s voice and make history!

Best,

Yasmin Radjy
