where his goal was to “prove" the urgency to engage a war with Iraq.
When asked about his decision to speak out, Wilkerson said: "Combine
the detainee abuse issue with the ineptitude of post-invasion planning
for Iraq, wrap both in this blanket of secretive decision-making...and
you get the overall reason for my speaking out." Colonel Wilkerson captivated NIAC audience members in Irvine with his
insider's perspective on the motivations and politics behind U.S.
