He spends a significant portion of the year traveling in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, for projects concerning business and activism. His language skills include fluency in English and Persian, as well as familiarity with Turkish and Spanish. Narimon has an extensive history of civic engagement and philanthropy. He has served on the Board of directors of organizations such as Citizens for Global Solutions, a leading NGO for the formation of the International Criminal Court at the Hague, Netherlands. He has also served on the Advisory boards of the Chicago Public Radio, an NPR affiliate, as well as The University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy and the Latino cultural Center of Chicago.
He currently serves on the boards of the Gene Siskel Film Center (part of the Art Institute of Chicago),and LinkTV, a satellite television network. He recently founded Pasfarda Art & cultural Exchange which facilitates exchanges between the United States and Iran. |
