Patrick Disney, Assistant Policy Director

Image Patrick Disney joined NIAC's policy team in May, 2008. Before that, he taught high school government to seniors at Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, Texas.

Patrick graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where he majored in political science, economics, and international studies. During his studies, he focused on US-Iran relations and US foreign policy in the Middle East/Iran, and wrote his undergraduate thesis on the conflict over Iran's nuclear program. He served as an intern in the Political/Economic Section of the US Embassy in Muscat, Oman during the summer of 2006. In addition, Patrick was a contributor to the online journal Foreign Policy in Focus covering the Iranian Majles elections and Iran-Iraq relations.  He blogs at niacINsight, as well as the Huffington Post.
